A watchable show but so derivative you'll be rolling your eyes if you'd ever seen SSS.Gridman, Robotics;Notes, Steins;Gate (or any of the Science Adventure franchise), Evangelion, This Ugly Yet Beautiful World, Eureka Seven and even Kagewani; never mind three scenes that were almost shot-for-shot copies of Shin Godzilla.
If you don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of the last 35 years of anime you won't understand it; if you do then you've seen it all done better
