I would say it was infantile but more likely it is satire written by high school students, humour worthy of "Airplane" and so very disappointing to see Mr. diCaprio giving his talents to so shallow a pursuit. I expected more of him, probably not of the others but of him yes !

I cry every time, the performances are all beautiful, the filmaking subtle and spectacularly beautiful, the story probably the most beautiful thing that Isherwood wrote - and it hangs together like the most perfect tailoring, thank you Tom Ford ! Yes, I am a gay many of similar age to the "hero" and yes, I have felt so many of the same feelings and pain, this film said so many of the things that I cannot tell anyone and again my thanks for this. in some ways, I feel less alone than I did before I saw this the first time.
