I've never been so glad for a book to end. He must've been writing this since 2016 when he contracted TDS. Yes, it was way too politically slanted but the story line was outrageous and most characters totally unlikable. Mr. Iles, most white conservatives are not inbred racists which is how you portrayed us. Your first books, Spandau Phoenix and Black Cross were treasures. So sad you've devolved to this. I know you're dealing with personal health struggles and pray that you will overcome them and lose the bitterness.

Actually I never liked Mitch and Abby McDeere in the Firm book, movie or series. So why the hell am I reading this. Boring..

I'm 100 pages in and considering giving up. Not interesting at all so far.

Love his books and he's a master of prose; however, this was so dark. I love Dave and Clete but was ready for it to end.
