A lot of people are crazy about this show. So I decided to give it a shot. I watched the Pilot and then the second and third episode and so on. Soon enough, The Vampire Diaries became my all-time favourite tv show ever. It has everything- a great story, extremely loveable characters(Damon is the best!) and eight awesome seasons. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this show. My favourite episodes are- Miss Mystic Falls, Heart Of Darkness, My Brother’s Keeper, Because The Night, She’s Come Undone, Graduation, Promised Land, 500 Years Of Solitude, I’m Thinking Of You All The While, Id Leave My Happy Home For You, Ill Wed You in The Golden Summertime and I Was Feeling Epic and more still. Sure, without Nina Dobrev the show was never the same but it was still amazing! Season 01 tells us the story of two vampire brothers, Damon and Stefan Salvatore, when they return to their hometown of Mystic Falls. There, they meet a girl named Elena Gilbert, who reminds them both of their first love Katherine Pierce. Here unravels the mystery behind their story and the truth behind vampirism. Season 02 features the official return of Katherine Pierce. Turns out, the oldest, deadliest vampire in existence, the original vampire with a face unknown, Klaus Mikaelson is after the last human Petrova Doppelgänger to remove a curse placed on him a millennium ago. Season 03 starts as Stefan has left with Klaus and slowly transforms into the deadly ripper again. It is also the season where Elena finally falls in love with Damon. Season 04 is the season we’ve all been waiting for. Finally, Elena Gilbert is a vampire and being a vampire has changed her. Now, she prefers Damon and has left Stefan for him. However, this is not without reason. When word spreads about a 2000 year old cure for Vampirism buried on the Island of Nova Scotia with an immortal named Silas, the group decides to find it. In Season 05, Damon and Elena are officially together and Katherine is officially human. Now comes up the storyline of how exactly the doppelgängers came to be and the mystery of the immortal Silas, Qetsiyah and Amara comes into full light. And another story about the other side falling apart. In season 06, Elena is devastated after Damon’s ‘death’ and has original vampire Alaric compel away all her good memorie of him. So, when Damon returns, he is shocked by what Elena has done. This is also Nina Dobrev’s final full season and the last dance in I’m Thinking Of You All The While is just amazing. In Season 07, Damon is still struggling without Elena by his side, Alaric is heartbroken by Jo’s death- only to find a happy surprise involving Caroline, Stefan and Caroline’s relationship is going through so many ups and downs and there’s a new killer in town. In season 08, the final season, Damon and Enzo have been mind controlled into doing terrible things for the evil Siren Sybil. And their loyal friends are on their way to save day. Also, as the series finale approaches, Nina Dobrev makes her much awaited return as Katherine Pierce/Elena Gilbert and I Was Feeling Epic is indeed an epic finale for an epic show that we will never forget.

The Originals is the spin off to The Vampire Diaries and focuses on The Mikaelson family story. The Originals is an amazing addition to the Tvd universe. Season 01 focuses on Klaus and Hayley Marshall’s daughter Hope’s birth and the problems that it brings. Season 02 is about an age old prophecy created by Esther Mikaelson’s long lost sister Dahlia, where she would take every Mikaelson firstborn as her own. Season 03 was about a prophecy that each Mikaelson would fall, one by foe, one by friend and one by family. Season 04 was set 5 years later and had a new villain named the Hollow. Now Season 05, the final season has begun. The Originals has given us so many loveable characters, like Klaus, Elijah, Hayley, Hope. It has even brought back characters from the dead, like Kol Mikaelson an Davina Claire. Best of all, it has given us another chance to see Tvd characters. In S02E06, Nina Dobrev appears as Tatia Petrova, the first doppelgänger. In S03E14, Paul Wesley appears as Stefan Salvatore. In S04E13 and one more, Matt Davis appears as Alaric Saltzman and now, Candice King has appeared in S05E01 as Caroline Forbes and is set to appear in 4 more episodes of the final season. So The Originals is another show you should not miss!

Riverdale didn’t catch my eye at first. I could not believe that the sweet and innocent and ever laughing Archie Comics Characters had been taken and placed into a world if darkness and betrayal. But when I gave it a try, I was like OMG. Its not so bad at all. Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper is one of my favourites. And I think this show is totally worth watching. April 18th 2018 brought its first special musical episode S02E18 A Night To Remember and it is the most brilliant episode of television Riverdale has ever put up. So please don’t miss this..
