My best machine learning book. Christopher Bishop is a good maths story teller and makes even the complex of concepts seem easy. 5 Starssss!

A good book that touches on a plethora (very exhaustive indeed) of machine learning algorithms. It is a "jack of all trade master of none" book, as such, only fit for referencing and not as an in-depth analysis of a particular algorithm. I like the book as it provides good insights and connections of machine learning algorithms. 4.5 stars.

A must have for machine learning researchers. The third part of the book is dedicated to deep learning research and contains very good introduction to state-of-the-art generative algorithms. For the absolute beginner however, the maths may be too involved and may require supplementing with other introductory texts/online tutorials to get the full value. That said, I'd recommend 100%.
