Spoilers The first 25-30 minutes was more like a gimmicky comedy. Warner Brothers was even mentioned. The plot seemed lacking. I liked the idea of Neo and Trinity in an alternate matrix rebuilt to create more energy. Reconstruction and all was cool. Swarm was cool. However, why would machines help them break the system? If the energy balance was broken then it didn't work...that was brought up in the first Matrix. NPH was the wrong person to cast and why did he have control over Trinity but also Neo. Weird fight scene with exiles and Mr. Smith. Why did Mr. Smith become a friend? I'm sure Matrix fans are happy to have something, but overall it was a hodgepodge of poorly laid plot lines. Paint the sky with rainbows... Again it felt like a long star-studded reunion with no real ending; that made sense anyways. It felt overly long too.

It is visually stunning. The soundtrack is fantastic. It emotionally pulls you in with the excellent story. The gameplay is good, but there is a lack of freedom to really explore. You are stuck to swimming in one lane. The cooking function feels similar to BotW. The puzzles and level design is fantastic. Just don't expect to venture off to find some secret place. I'm currently on Chapter 3. I'm hoping the extra linear vibe starts breaking. Story 10 Soundtrack 10 Gameplay 6

I see why people walked out. The stress this put people through watching all cringeworthy scenes. Howard is extremely distasteful. I can see people not being able to handle it. It is a character you want to strangle constantly. I loved it... It put me on the edge of my seat constantly. It is one of those movies you'll love or hate. To the people that said no character development..... there was plenty. One of the best movies I've seen in a while.
