This is tedious to watch. The directing is lacklustre, the acting mediocre, and plot is cumbersome to keep track of. I’m struggling to get past each episode. It’s been a week since I started. I now switch to other content whenever I roll my eyes at the convoluted storytelling in Echoes. Thank goodness for other new stuff on Netflix.

I suffered more than any of the tortured characters in this film. I loved SAW and SAW IV (frankly you don’t really need to see 2 and 3) but this reboot is badly directed, badly acted, and the storyline is meh. Props for the plot twist towards the end though.

Slow-moving, indulgent for the first hour. If you’re patient enough it starts to get interesting after 1.5 hours. Starts off like a updated remake of Closer with Julia Roberts/Clive Owen/Jude Law/Natalie Portman, but with a twist.

Bloody tedious to watch. What on earth possessed the producers and director to endlessly stretch the same narratives and footage across three episodes when CLEARLY just one 1.5hour documentary would have sufficed - I’ll never know. Absolute thumbs down.
