Crusade & medieval era history buffs who enjoy 4X style games with cheeky commentary and minimalistic cartoon graphics -- look no further! I've got about 20hrs in play-time in, the scenarios are rather enjoyable. There's a good amount of game mechanics that seem to play off each other, keeping various aspects of your empire alive and well is a bit of a trade-off. I worry it may get a touch repetitive once you've turned over all the stones and made all the unlocks. I've begun to notice small things have gone from fun/interesting towards tedious already. Either way, it has certainly been a good play so far, looking forward to seeing where it goes next.
