Worst film I’ve seen in quite a while. Like a bad episode of X-Files. No character development. Silly and non-scary monster. About an hour too long. I was so bored. After ten minutes, you get the story and then nothing happens over the next 2 hours. Don’t think I will see another Peele film again. He’s become another M. Night S. A one great film wonder, and then garbage.

I can't believe all of these great reviews. I am so bored. On episode 6. Trying to give it a chance, but I feel there is so much wrong with it. From the bad age makeup to the long endless scenes to the miscast actors. And it's not at all scary. This could definitely have been a 90 minute film and not a drawn-out 7 hour series. I love horror, but this just did not do it for me.

When will the world realize that Emperor Murphy has no clothes. His productions (aside from Versace/OJ/Feud) might be pretty to look at and have pretty actors - but the writing is always substandard and boring. It seems that someone comes up with an idea, but they are never able to flesh it out into an entertaining end product. His productions employ many people which is a good thing, but I find myself always disappointed as a viewer. Reading all of the glowing reviews here, I am amazed what people these days accept as quality entertainment.
