I feel as though the beginning almost had no meaning, they could’ve done an intro using any type of girl with any background. I’d almost rather there be 2 separate movies, because I was rather intrigued by her life at the beginning, I would’ve watched a movie about that alone. Maika Monroe captures the city living young woman quite well, it would’ve been an interesting movie. I like this movie, but again, what did the beginning really have to do with anything?
