I remember how excited I was when the news of Yashahime came out. Knowing that the series that got me into anime would be getting a sequel after almost ten years made me so happy that it was getting more content. But after seeing the last teaser trailer before the first episode came out and deciding to just not watch it at all, I’m glad I made that decision. From what I hear the show is a hot mess. But the fact that they made Sesshomaru x Rin canon absolutely disgusts me. They made the eight year old child he looked after in the original series the father of his children. I was already on edge when I heard that but after learning about the age at which she gave birth to the twins made me want to bash my head in.
