As an American married to a Brazilian, and well traveled in Brazil, I feel this is a tricky documentary (but a good one). Lula did do amazing amounts of good for the country, but his cardinal sin was not cleaning up the corruption that he was eventually swept up in. Dilma's impeachment made a mockery of democracy, I haven't heard any sound argument for how/why that was done. In political conversations with Brazilians on both sides of the politics we always end up with the same conclusion...... the problem is structural corruption at EVERY level
