The opioid epidemic bandwagon is failing to look at the millions of people that take opioids to deal with intense daily pain. I fear that the lawsuits and scrutiny will make it extremely difficult to get meds. My son has 3 inoperative brain tumors, he has gone through extensive treatments and at this time they are not growing but they put pressure on his brain and cause headache pain that I cannot even imagine. All this hoopla has already limited the number of pills he can receive which makes it difficult for him to travel. He is well educated and has achieved his degrees while taking opioids. I may have to go after those that are going after the drug companies to ensure my son can continue to get his meds. These are good meds being misprescribed and misused.
