I just wanted to respond to the comment made by Kavita Man. You're annoyance at some of the ignorance is the point of the whole film🙄. This is a very realistic view how society treats black women with white men.. should it just be swept under the carpet and not addressed? The scenes especially the comedy you mentioned, is exactly accurate. If you're in a IR relationship you need to have thick enough skin to deal with life events.. especially a light hearted joke at a comedy club... come on. Back to the film. I enjoyed it, but some parts very unrealistic. I just don't think someone so against dating a white man realistically would. (I think they shouldn't have made her so prejudice to begin with). Furthermore, someone who hates dogs, doesn't turn to loving dogs just because there partner does (again very unrealistic).. but apart from these things a nice little chick flik
