Good story and casting, the found footage style works really well. The ending was a bit generic, could have better utilised the story's uniqueness. Fun practical effects for some spoopiness

Overall worth watching but slow at times and can be annoyingly ambiguous at the expense of giving the audience a pay off for the story. Strong acting from the cast, especially the younger actors

Great concept carried well through the series but the finale feels almost cliche. All of the shows uniqueness gets replaced by something generic. Worth a watch but keep that in mind. Great cast

Time loops, non linear space and a wholesome peppering of incestuous themes

Captures the classic visual effects and insane goofiness of the original perfectly, all the cast seem to enjoy being there. The plot tries to introduce way too many story lines; two main villains, one minor villain, two dead relatives looking for closure, an new afterlife guide character, the return of all the previous cast and the introduction of Jenna Ortegas character, to the point where none of them really get concluded properly. They make an effort to set up that Lydia is now a full time medium who can talk to all ghosts, but she never does. Beetlejuices scary wife from the trailers does essentially nothing and gets defeated straight away. It's still a fun way to kill a couple hours and worth a watch but should have been more focused

Show's so cooked I thought I accidentally put on Master Chef instead

I don't know what they're trying to do with this series but it falls flat. Watch something else

Great pace and tension. It was great seeing Rupert Grint in this movie, didn't expect him to be this strong. Look up the true story after you watch it
