I don't what this was about really. It doesn't really have a solid plot. Its just a bit of a meandering piece that circulates around and doesn't really go anywhere exactly. I suppose it's an allegory but it's not very clear. To me at least. If everyone loves it that's fine. The message just got lost on me. But that's just my two cents.

Slow to get to the point and lacking any real twists or turns. This could have been better but everything about it was phoned in and mostly a pointless effort in all. Disappointing and forgettable.

It's nothing really groundbreaking. The film has all the plot points covered. Tragic upbringing, drugs, welfare, comeback etc. It's a good movie that tells a familiar story albight a forgettable one. The film leaves no impact two or three hours after seeing it.
