12 rules for life, changed my life. I was going through a detox/withdraw from opiates & alcohol at the time I read it. It was the last book I read, and I did in about 4-5 days.
I was excited for this, yet, it has felt like a chore to get past rule 1. It is just not engaging, or personal, to me. Sorry Jordan, but I am bored to the point of skipping paragraphs.
It seems repetitive, with a lot of unnecessary filler.. I'll keep trying, but it is nowhere near the level of engagement I experienced with 12 rules
*Edit: Also, the part where Jordan "knew nothing" about 'benzo' addictions/withdrawals.. Really makes me wonder, if he is being truly honest.
