Wow I couldn't make it through the first episode. Maybe The Expanse or Colony or Lost in Space spoiled me, but literally everything within the first episode was an eye-rolling mess. My favorite part was how everyone had to explain to each other the basic functions of the ship, or maybe it was how the AI it's an absolute useless trinket that everyone seemed surprised by because it has emotions, like it was the first one ever built or something, and no one was told about it before they got on the ship. Literally no important character in incredibly important roles have any discipline, I guess that's not a thing in the future? There's a whole science team investigating something miraculous and nobody knows if the lead scientist is literally just throwing anything against the wall to see what sticks.
It's like this script consisted of a few basic ideas, and then they let the actors just ad-lib out what might be science-fictiony enough. It's insulting. Nothing is even remotely believable, you can't even suspend your disbelief it's so bad. It's not even the kind of bad that can be entertaining.
