Cookiecutter rug

Not going to talk very much about it because I recommend scrolling through the rest of these for a quick laugh. Needles to say the game is pretty buggy, has a lot of frame rate issues, and other general performance problems. However in my opinion that doesn’t take away from the game all too much. The world is full of stuff to do, the fighting system, while problematic, is really fun in the later game, and the characters in this game are amazing. I must say however that this review isn’t representative of a lot of peoples experience. I played this game of ps5, and while mostly running smoothly I did experience some major drops in frame rate when randomly cruising night city. As stated before the combat does have a fair few problems in the sense that it feels a little cheap. Personally I get more rewarding gameplay from blades and swords just because of the adrenaline rush I get when doing so instead of the monotonous gun gameplay that mostly consists of just lighting up dumb AI. With that being said, the variation of weapons and skills given to you in the later game definitely enhances the gameplay and gives you a sense of what CDPR had in mind for the game. Overall the game had minor issues, not including the bugs, but I say is definitely worth picking up if you’re really stoked about it. However if not then I say wait till about March or April of next year when I expect some bigger bug fixes to be coming in.
