Over glorifying a corrupt politician and his corrupt father to whitewash all the scams and crimes committed is what Yatra 2 is. The exact word to describe this is called PROPAGANDA. Though the director had tried his level best to portray this corrupt roach as God-sent, the box office collections tell you a different story. Lol, this is 2024 , who even watches these kind of Propaganda movies.

Dull story line, unnecessary romance plot that sidelines the main plot of the movie. While the makers boast of grand scale of VFX, it barely looks like a good amount has been spent on it. It merely looks like something copied straight out of animes, and other Hollywood flicks. I'm surprised why people are praising SRKs insignificant cameo. Let me tell you why it is insignificant and not well done. It's because the makers claim this movie to be rooted in Hindu scriptures, SRK who seems to possess the key to vanarastra invokes the Astra without any mantra. Looks so silly, as if it's made for 6yo. Dude took 10 years for this? Bro? Seriously? From the makers ig post, it is evident initially he wanted to make a film on Rumi set in the present scenario, however observing the wild shift in movie making trend in the recent years, Ayan seems to have made last minute changes to the whole script and the result is a pathetically patched , overwhelmingly bright ,harsh on eyes color scheme that seems out of the spot. The whole character building seems very childish and poorly researched and worked upon. Reminded me of power rangers in some instances . Lol . While fans might try hard to make it a block buster , boys understand that it takes more than VFX to make a good movie. Fortunately and unfortunately this movie will not set a benchmark in movie making like SS Rajamouli ' s movies did. Bollywood, please don't try. You would embarass yourself miserably. Please don't.

Though there's been a negative talk about this film in the mass circle,I personally haven't felt it's not as bad as they have managed to project. On a scale of 5, I'd happily rate it 3.8-4/5. The film revolves around a worker involved in red Sanders smuggling and how he rises to power in the syndicate using his wits and intellect. The efforts put in by Allu Arjun to mould himself into the character of Pushparaj are impeccable, be it the slang of Chittoor, body language, the physical appearance or the just the performance in whole. Though the cinematographer has been really praised for his previous works, the camera work is just decent and could have been a lot better. The biggest setback is the background score which failed to provide an electrifying elevation to the character of Pushpa and a lot of other gripping scenes throughout the film . The only track that keeps people humming the tune is 'Srivalli' by Sid Sri Ram, a few other tracks such as 'Saamy' and ' Naa adda' seemed quite unpleasant and didn't really fit into this well written script. Be it the picturization or just the track, these tracks disturb the viewer's interest in a plot that has managed to grip the audience. Sunil' first time performance as one of the antagonist -'Managalam seenu' would leave you impressed without a doubt. Rashmika could have been a better performer and seemed like the odd one in this lot of performers. Fahad' introduction in the last few minutes of the film may have disappointed a few audience which mostly include nibbas , lets not come to any crude conclusions and press your worthless opinions by projecting this well written film as a box office tank & wait for part 2 to witness the suspense unfold.
