Eli Thurman

I put this book right behind World War Z in terms of my favorite zombie novels. The world building is awesome, the characters are awesome, and the setting is awesome. I love the idea of zombies in the old west. This also kinda shocked me for how dark it was, considering it's a Scholastic book. Also, kinda a spoiler, but the idea of getting infected and then never being able to get the zombie virus again is one of the most realistic things about this book and I wish more zombie media touched on this. In short, I love it, and I'll be looking forward to new books from Emma Berquist in the future.
