Richard Boone was the brilliant actor who lifted Hec Ramsey into an interesting 3 dimensional character that rode the Wild West around its decline at the start of the last century. Ramsey was intetested in forensics and often referred to his box of tricks to measure hoof prints, identify finger prints and simple ballistics. Its fun if you dont take it too seriously but Boone us a terrific actor who makes any scene credible. Im glad I discovered these gems having watched, rewatched and watched some more every epidode of Columbo and MacMillan and Wife.

The untidy cigar chomping detective who always gets the upper hand and no matter how he personally feels about a case he never lets the villain go re: Faye Dunnaway and Ruth Gordon.
Oh just one more thing, the writing ind ingenuity of the scripts are beyond fabulous.

I was really hoping I would like this but it was weak from the beginning. The entire cast has a lack of energy that reaches the viewer. Its not a bad show but the performanced drag. I feel like pushing the cast forward. Every line is tired and every footstep drags painfully along.
Sad could have been good with a less inept director and maybe if Josh Groban had taken his energy pills.iif

The barrage of foul language in the first few minutes was enough to convince me to turn off. I felt the show tried too hard to be relevant and mature overshadowing any attempt at what could have been a really good horror series.

This movie while not a complete loss manages to strangle itself from within. Its slow plodding and morose overtones dulls what could have been a different movie. The unneccessary nudity is an assault to the eyes and lends nothing to the movie except to embarass the actress playing Meghan.

Riveting mini series based on the Purdue Pharma scandal with stellar performances from Uzo Aduba, West Duchovny and an almost unrecognizable Matthew Broderick. Definitely worth a watch. I wasn't keen to watch it at first but once I started, I couldn't stop. It gives a tremendous insight into the lengths drug reps go to, to get doctors to use their products.

Having not seen the original was probably what made this more enjoyable than others have said. It has Jim Caviezal in a less than Jesus inspired role as a man whose marriage is on the brink of disaster due to his wive's numerous affairs.
Caviezal is slick and very Alpha as a man whocabuses nature and gets his comeuppance when nature gashes him right back. On the plus side, JC is able to hold the movie together as the eye candy . Pity about the ending though!

A film with more holes than my moth eaten jumper but still an enjoyable popcorn flick. Denzel plays an agent out to solve an explosion on board a ferry and 543 deaths, while Caviezal uses his dastardly looks to breathe life into a menacing character as the bad guy. Caviezel has very little screen time but pumps each minute as a nasty piece of work. All in all a terrific thriller
