After the release of its predecessor, It Won't Be Soon Before Long is honestly one of their best-made albums of all time. The fact that Adam Levine mostly wrote these songs singlehandedly is splendid. I find it flawless because the energy from Songs About Jane is carried out and delivered nicely. Breakup songs are usually cliche, but in this one, it was written and tuned perfectly. It totally rocks!

I think this is the start of their falling point, but it is still good considering what they have made these past few years. I hate to compare, but I find it necessary sometimes. This poppy energy is vibrant. Moves Like Jagger is overrated. Sad and Doin Dirt are underrated. This is definitely still worthy of listening to.

This is, I think, their last excellent album to be made. It has some pop vibes, but the identity is still there, mixing it with their rock energy. I hope they come back to this specific type of genre.

It has more misses than hits, but it can be pleasing sometimes. Not their A-game album. It is pretty inconsistent, but if you like it, then I am happy for you.

I thought Red Pill Blues was their lowest point, but this one is even worse than its predecessor. Only Memories, Nobody's Love, and Beautiful are the most pleasing songs on the album. I don't want to sound like I hate change but I miss the old Maroon 5 —the band that created hits like Harder to Breathe, She Will Be Loved, Sugar, Maps, Won't Go Home Without You (most songs from Songs about Jane to V album).
