I think the book and movie is very interesting. Yes the movie shortcuts the books but it still gives you the story. The cast as a whole did very well. Given Patrick wilsons paranormal history gives the movie more of an exhilarated experience/theme. He brings a lot to the table, but the supporting cast had a lot to do with it. It is and overall great film!
