Read a critic saying they wanted to hug Meryl's accent and I couldn't agree more. I can feel the emotions delivered by Meryl although with subtle expressions. This movie is a perfect portrayal of how trauma can affect our life. I didn't cry much while watching the movie, but somehow it leaves some pain in me. Sophie is a character that I really sympathize with. Considering how much she went through, I wouldn't dare to question her choices. ((SPOILER)) Sophie said a few times that Stingo wouldn't be able to truly understands her. I can relate to how she expressed it. We can tell people the main plots of our life, but the hurtful things weren't just from few big events but also the pain and aftereffect of each incident.

JUST WATCH YOU WONT REGRET, watch if you wanted a good cry and some good romance.

This is one of the earliest kdramas I have watched. A perfect blend of romance, comedy and of course some childhood traumas. Great character developments, and each character is very memorable to me. A drama that I would rewatch from time to time.
