I am only writing this review for people looking for opinions on whether to watch it or not! I'm in no way trying to diss people who love it or hate it! Fantasy and dark realism are two of my absolute favourite genre of anime. And honestly this wasn't the worst presentation. However, personally I found it to be a touch boring. I find it very repetitive and it drives home the same point over and over again. I can understand that the characters are meant as vessels for the deeper meaning but they felt very archetype and not super well developed (my own opinion not a fact!) And I personally like to be able to relate to and identify with characters as they deliver these deeper messages. So not the best not the worst. I'd say give it a shot if you're interested for sure! Just make sure to heed the warnings of disturbing content, nudity, and darker themes!
