It was a great movie. Im not sure where people are finding their information, because this movie is 100% canon to the RE universe. I highly recommend as it adds to the Resident Evil world as not only basically a sequel to Resident Evil 4 (taking place a year after RE4's events) but gives Leon and Claire more character building.
