Didn’t know this was a musical. (My fault. Should’ve done my research before watching I guess) I was interested in the movie because of the trailer (which didn’t not show that it’s was gonna be a whole musical) I was ready for an emotional movie. I was ready to cry my eyes out. But I ended up laughing through out the whole thing because it was straight cringe. The acting was kind of bad or maybe the script wasn’t written well. There was no chemistry between the character. The weird breakout in songs where it’s suppose to be emotionally sad/depressing was awkward and bad. I don’t hate musicals at all, but singing should not be mixed with a plot that talks about suicide/depression/anxiety. Compared to the greatest showman, this is dirt. Pls do not waste your money or time watching this movie unless you love musicals. Also if you have depression or suicidal thoughts. Pls don’t watch this. It might trigger you Bc of how bad they portray real people.
