I like this show, it's cute and fun. It is a little sad to watch the early episodes knowing that Christina's relationship with Ant doesn't work out since a part of it is centered around her personal life. She seems to enjoy her design job, and genuinely cares about her clients and connects well with them. Most importantly, she listens to their concerns and respects their wishes. I like that the clients are from all income ranges, and she never acts like a budget or a house is beneath her, and she is great at offering affordable alternatives to some of their more expensive ideas. I would also add that she comes across as very kind and down to earth, and also a little silly and playful, which is not something that was as obvious in Flip or Flop. She clearly loves her kids and seems like a good mom, I think the whole focus on her personal life works in this setting. I also enjoy the designs so all the elements taken together make for a good design show overall.

I loved this movie as a kid. The wheelers and Mombie terrified me, but I loved it all the same. I recently rewatched it with my children, who weren’t scared at all! I liked the pacing, acting, and dark undertones, as well as the new characters. Tick Tock and Jack Pumpkinhead were unique and appropriate replacements for the Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow, and the Tin Woodman. It is a sequel to the Judy Garland musical in storyline only, try to watch it with an open mind without expecting the style of the original, and I think you’ll enjoy it.
