Good acting and a reasonable plot disappears in the lack of credibility. Sorry, Canadian Hollywood thinks that it can lie to the public and call it 'entertainment'. This series has its moments BUT, sorry, milk does not come from bottles in its origins. As soon as this series claimed to be based in the Canadian Northwest Territories (on a flight from someplace in (Alaska?) to "Inuvik", it needed to know, and represent, the geography the story is supposedly based on.... Alaska may have mountains and lakes similar to BC BUT any 'flight line' towards Canada's more northern city would encounter taiga, or stunted trees and low rocks, in most of its flight... Definitely NOT B.C.'s Cedar rain forests. When a movie is NOT true to the locale and realities of our world, it loses credibility with me. That led to disbelief about the series of traumatic events which unfolded. Art has its limitations. Not knowing, or caring, about the real world, is not art, unless one is writing science fiction... Was this what this drama was supposed to be? I think not and this fact destroys any merit this series had as 'art'. It has good camera work and acting but that disappears in a quagmire of disbelief...
