I made it only halfway through the first episode. And I blame it entirely on the writing. I had no idea what was going on. They jumped from character to character, situation to situation, and still I wondered what the point was. All I did know was the politics I was hearing. Usually a character or a general vibe will grab me, make me want to continue. All I felt was bewildered and bored. And those horribly inaccurate accents irked me. But mainly, I expect art for my entertainment. Some form of beauty. Def not politics.

This so great, so spectacular, on so many levels. Martin has graduated to a whole other level. It's art. In every sense of the word. The performances, the cinematography, and this man's writing and direction!! I couldn't imagine him better than with "In Bruges". But he outdid himself. Touching and profound. A beauty in every way.

The cast is great. The writing is terrible. So much so, I'm on E7 two days after I started. They're all over the place. I want answers, so I will finish it.

The whole concept is ridiculous. A 40 yr old female is portraying a straight teenage boy?!

Just watched S1 and S2. To me, S1 was a good deal better. First episode I totally cracked up. And the cast was strong. Though E7 & 8 were weak. In S2, I didn't come close to laughing out loud til E6. That's bad. But not even a chuckle throughout S3. Was a struggle to finish it. What a waste of such a wonderful cast. I'm not even attempting S4.

Maybe there's a something great at the end. But halfway in I'm done. Was there even a point? And the main character is horribly annoying. What a waste of an hour.

Thandie Newton was the gem, and Hiroyuki Sanada was great. But life is too short to force myself through a show. I don't see how it got good ratings. Little for the mind and nothing for the heart.

This show does tackle some important issues. Exposing the dysfunctional family system. Death and how very precious life is. But imo it went overboard on shock value. Very disturbing. I'm 58 and have 30 yrs of codependency recovery, coming from a very dysfunctional family. But these people are all crippled. Not everyone is horrendously sick.

It hurt my heart, and brain, to see the low rating for this splendid adventure. Out of hundreds of movies, it's on my top 5. And the rewatchability is unlimited. Scenery is beautiful. Viggo and Omar's acting, of course, is perfect. It's filled with honor and integrity. But most of all; you feel like you could conquer the world when it's over.

Best sitcom out there right now. Only one I've tried in a while that doesn't make me cringe at bad writing. And the cast is fantastic.
