Nazim Phillips

Advertised as a zombie survival movie and it was that for only about 20-30 minutes. The remaining 90 minutes is just a kid, his mother and a complete lack of zombies. It's a letdown if you've watched the previous parts or any of the movie's marketing. Ending was pretty random too.

Feels very Disney-fied compared to the bayverse, lot of jokes didn't land for me and made the characters just seem rather annoying. Some of the effects are a bit uncanny. I don't think the movie needed any human main characters at all, could have easily been purely Transformers. I enjoyed Bumblebee and hoped it would be closer to that, but it really misses the mark. It's called Rise of the Beasts but the Maximals had very little screen time and one of them never speaks at all. Could have been so great if handled a bit differently.

The best cartoon, art style, jokes, characters and adventures... very unique

If you watch movies for the plot then this isn't the movie for you. This movie is Michael Bay multiplied by 10. Explosion, car chases with luxurious vehicles, gun fights, gore, crazy stunts, beautiful women, amazing scenery, surviving the impossible. The movie starts fast and pretty much stays like that with 5-10 minutes of calm for you to catch your breath before heading to the next set piece. I enjoyed it, would recommend.
