The movie is well acted and we certainly identified with her plight. Abusive family to an abuser in marriage. However, her efforts to respond to her husband's questions seem almost like being coy at times. For example, when he drops her phone and finds the ex bf's number she doesn't make a realistic effort to explain it. All she had to do was tell the truth - the guy dropped by to say hello and left his number if she would want to call. No, be terse and add fuel to the situation. Realistically, with a baby on the way and initially liking the guy, wouldn't she and hubby sit down, talk it out, set some boundaries and go from there?

Liked AK's performance, but the movie needed more depth. For example, the closing scene seems rather trite. Yes, the abused girl got out of car; ran to house, cops came; nabbed the guy. OK, but they could at least had a scene where she is on the phone and you hear exactly what she said to get them to immediately show up and arrest. If you note, earlier in the show a girl in the audience recognized the guy as the one who offed her sister. However, when she goes to the cops, they do nothing. What changed? I liked that Anna was true to the actual story. She jazzed up the parting with B3 in the dark parking lot which was OK by me. The real story was the gal picked B3 but felt something was off and never went near him again. Pretty dull for a movie event.

Sort of a dumbed down Colombo. The crimes she solves with her powers of observation are overly simplistic. The show would be better with more complex situations and better clever alibis. Look at the Dabney Coleman episode where shadows help Falk crack the case. BTW RIP Mr. Coleman - well done.

Fun rom com stuff. Mia has great looking legs. It was fun to see 'Jamie' out of his usual series and Celine in a movie role.

A nice, feel good movie. You don't need to watch the first one to enjoy this. The girls are becoming women in their own right and face more mature issues. Greek Island scenery is gorgeous. I could swear I saw a different movie version of the ending. Ellie says she lost the pants (may have blown off the clothesline); the girls put up posters, but they're gone. In the version I thought I saw years back, the movie shows the pants hanging on the line by themselves; Ellie not present. The strong Greek Island wind blows the pants away. From there the scenes and dialogs are the same. I wonder if there was an international release of this or when mastered to disc the scene was edited out?? An example of this is the whipping scene with Vera Ralston in Fair Wind To Java, circa 1953. US version = cut extensively Export = ouch!

Wife and I went to see it after seeing 80 for Brady and enjoying that film. The story line is weak and the humor is just quickly made up one liners with no plot development. All the philosophising about each other is a bit much. It was great to see places we had been in Italy but that alone can't save the film. Diane Keaton needs to ditch the hat and glasses look and Bergan's hairstyling was awful until they gave her a decent look near the end of the film.

Entertaining but storyline comes across like the old Clue game with Coronel Mustard, Miss Scarlet and their fellow suspects. The mansion on the island is impressive but Craig running around with his southern accent seems a bit strange. There is also a rather glaring inconsistency in the plotline. I won't say more on this, but pay attention, easy to spot.

A bit slow moving at first, the pace does pick up so be patient. I figured the whole thing out about 3 episodes into the series. The acting is good and the cast does capture diversity. All the very dark settings and gloomy weather are not my cup of tea. The woke stuff seems obligatory so the whole viewing crowd gets their piece of identity but really has nothing to do with the plot line. Some of the later episodes are almost laughable hocus pocus. The armed crew and passengers can't take over the ship? Really? The menace in the box can't just be obliterated by a few well placed sledge hammer blows? People can't be stopped marching along? The thing remined me a bit of Wayward Pines. Lead speaking English to Dutch people and other foreigners draws their rapt attention?

Good performances. We would have liked to see more scenes with the actual treasure the movie was supposed to be about.

Season one of the show is quite good. The episodes do a very good job of character development and following a tried and true method of identifying the killer as someone close, but keeping the suspense going until the end. Season 2 comes across as straining. The added plot and characters surrounding a second murder are to have enough filler for a second season. We stopped watching after season 2. The courtroom proceedings were not legally believable and the multitude of plot twists, a one night stand, lesbian love, filler, detracting from the series. We watched the show on Netflix and the audio quality due to all the signal compression artifacts, and excessive background music while the actors are talking make dialog muddy and hard to follow. Brit and Scott dialog is clipped and hard to follow without all the background noise.
