Movie is priceless for those of us that lived through the years of Vietnam war. Newer generations would probably not be able to relate. We felt the portrayal of the men and women who returned so mentally scarred was what we both observed as college students in the 60s.
I felt this show was able to explain the anger and hermit lifestyles of war heroes returning. We both agreed it was a much better reflection of American warriors and how they continue to live after the horror they experienced. Movie July 4th with Tom Cruise was so depressing; this movie brought to mind how these soldiers literally paved the way of understanding the needs of our returning soldiers to this day.
Best part, every one of the amazing actors were of that generation. It showed in their face, their anger, their tears.
Thanks Hulu for sharing it with the world.
