Positive Feel good movie Coming of age Nostalgic sort of movie about high school Entertaining Funny at times Good soundtrack The bright colors and film aesthetic is pleasing to the eye The 3 female leads are good actors and very cute! Title matches the movie very well Cons: Predictable and a bit cliche (I literally called the plot within the first 5 min of it and I was right) There are some tertiary characters thrown in which are not necessary but thrown in for potential laughs Surfacey sort of dialogue, not deep or emotional (but I sort of liked that for this film since it's a feel-good movie) The adults do not act like adults (like too sexualized or odd dialogue - some of it is funny though, but some of it drags on or is cringe) There were like almost too many gay characters (background and the like) that could be a turn off for straight moviegoers, but I'm honestly glad for it There are some political things and possibly offensive things thrown in which nobody wants (take us away from reality, don't remind us of it) Conclusion: I recommend for when you want to just be entertained and feel happy! It's nice to watch a lesbian coming of age/coming out movie and not be depressed about it. I definitely have my own crush now on Auliʻi Cravalho. She was brilliant.

SPOILERS - I really really want to like this show. It’s got Killing Eve and The Blacklist vibes but without the fun parts - character banter, fun twists, open questions… This is similar to Fox’s Prodigal Son in the fact that you keep waiting for something exciting to happen, something the audience expects will happen or a clever twist, and it just doesn’t come. They call this show a cat and mouse kind of game, but it’s not really since the main antagonist is already captured and there’s not much chemistry between her and the main protagonist. The acting is good from the main female leads, but everyone else kinda sucks. There’s too many tertiary and secondary characters in the pilot and all at once. The show feels rushed. Like really rushed. No time to chew on the characters, no time to question the motives of the antagonist - they just all feel very 2d, even Morena’s character doesn’t have much depth to her. There was a review I read that makes it seem like a bad spy movie with a supervillain laughing (muhahahaha), it’s meant to be a drama but it’s lacking thriller, edge of your seat vibes, character depth and it comes off as comical. I am pretty sure it’s the scriptwriting. But it could be the directing, too. Unfortunately, as of the last couple years or so American drama series are just not it for me anymore. They downplay the scripts as if their audience is stupid, don’t settle into characters and just go all in rush on plots. The plot here is okay, the heist scenes I like, but it is still a bit clunky. NBC used to have good shows like Hannibal (which they unfortunately cancelled a while back) and The Blacklist (before like the last two seasons). I really need to emphasize character. If NBC wants to connect with their audience, they need to take notes from British tv and write good characters. If you have that, the plot will follow. I might continue watching this just because I’m such a fan of Morena, but honestly, if they didn’t have her, I might just skip it.

Pretty good vampire movie. The cinematography is really unique and works perfectly for this story. Story is simple and intense and the acting was great. I enjoyed this movie. Pure entertainment.

Watched the pilot. Tell me why should I be invested in characters i now know are going to die? What’s the point then? I don’t find this story or characters compelling enough to continue watching. Unfortunate. BBC collab shows are usually good…

This movie sucks. CGI fighting scenes sucked. The story sucked. I love the story of King Arthur but this did not cut it. It sucked. Only thing good about it is Jude Law and the guy from game of thrones.

Story was slow in the beginning and they could have cut out a bunch of scenes. They went way too dark on this it was disturbing. And too over the top, I think they were trying to go with the shock factor but it really wasn’t that good at all. The acting was great obviously and Andy serkis plays a good bad guy as he does but I just kept seeing gollum lol. Any way I was missing Alice. But this was just not good. Way too dark.
