It definitely was slow, depressing, dark, and hard to keep going with. It was referred by a friend, otherwise I would have given up. It had moments. Hobie and his love for the girl. However I hate reading about druggies and pointless losers and he was all that.
So many good books. Dont waste your time here. Can't imagine how it won an award.
