Combining film noir and dystopian fantasy may seem like a brilliant idea, but in this film it sinks in the waters of the climate-catastrophic world. Hugh Jackman's star power also disappears in the murky waters of the contrived and predictable plot. Old suspense, noir and fantasy film references may have seemed like a good idea, but they kill off any sense of identifiction with any of the characters. The best thing about "Reminiscence" is Rebecca's rendition of "Where or When."
