An Oscar nominated film with offbeat, it feels like we are also the mates of the villagers to find the butcher's buffalo through the forests, through the intertwined stories and finally into a realisation- the human beings are worse than the wild ones. The nature of the human race has lastly came to the front while catching a wild buffalo turned into a savage, untamed and brutal event. Watching the movie, Jallikattu, certainly drives one to think their nature and how that differs from the so called 'wild' ones. Are we civilized or just pretending to be something or someone in this fairly 'good' world?
