This is not Tolkien! Very boring and terrible characters. So bad I was rooting for the orcs

The film was honestly just literal trash. It wasn't even remotely like the books. They changed it so much that it isn't even recognizable as the same story. The only thing they had in common was that there was a boy named percy jackson. I doubt that the directors even read the books. I feel like on some parts even I could have done better acting. Also you know a movie adaptation is bad when the books author doesn't like it. Rick Riordan said he is ashamed to have his name associated with this film. So all in all it was terrible and a waste of money and time. I really don't understand people who liked this film because even if I had not read the book I would have still found it very boring.
