This much anticipated Christmas “special” was a massive let down and a poor reflection of this once , funny sitcom. From the outset, the gags were poor, the plot was lame, and the new characters were woeful. The original cast also, didn’t seem to have the same chemistry as in the original series, and the ending was just written for another money making Christmas spin off, in years to come. Gavin and Stacey will be better remembered 10 years ago, back when it was funny! The only ones laughing this time were surely only the cast and creators who must have been laughing all the way to the bank!
