People are being way too harsh on this movie. YES, it could have been better. The plot had a lot going on and a lot of the villain dialogue seemed a bit forced. Although, the plot wasn't so confusing as other reviews were saying. Yes, it was a lot, but I wasn't ever lost during the movie. Otherwise, this is a good movie! There is a LOT of gore and blood. The movie was visually very appealing and David Harbour was excellent as Hellboy. The movie used a lot of practical effects which I LOVED! The soundtrack was great, too. I have more good things to say about it than bad. It could have been better, yes, but I really enjoyed it and so did my boyfriend. I think it deserves a better rating than what Rotten Tomatoes/ IMDb says.
