Machai Humphries (SupaMacMan)

I saw this recommended to me on Netflix and was instantly intrigued by the art style. And when I actually watched the movie that along with the beautiful animation made it really entertaining to watch. The world building and backgrounds were outstanding as well. With every bit of detail poured into each scene. It brought us through this different world where the more cartoony characters lived seamlessly and so casually and without the movie having to explain why they were there. I also found the story to be pretty intresting as well. But there was a few things about it that weren’t that good. *Spoilers* The concept of aliens taking over the earth by taking over the government is a pretty cool idea. With their weakness, cold being why there’s global warming. There’s also hybrid aliens, with powers and more. The problem is though is that it doesn’t do a good job giving the audience context and what’s going on most of the time. And by the end of the movie your left with a whole lot of questions that I felt like the movie could’ve done a better job explaining. Like with the main villain, or the wrestling machos. To be fair they kind of gave insight of who they were. But as for everything else not so much. I would love for this to be expanded upon. I really want to see more of these characters and see what other adventures they go through. With all of these unanswered questions it makes me believe there would a sequel. To expand more upon the unexplained.
