Ugh this 2016 Ghostbusters, with the cast of veteran actors, had a ton of potential but it completely failed to live up to it in every way. First there are movie franchises that don't lend themselves to reboots or remakes and Ghostbusters is definitely one of them. The Studio, Director and producers attempts to make an all female cast of Ghostbusters failed not because of the cast but because they wrote Ghostbusters 2016 as a reboot instead of a continuation of the first two Ghostbuster films. That doom the movie before it even got started. The plot was too predictable, the cast of Ghostbusters just didn't have any chemistry, it's attempts to be funny fell flat, the character of Chris Hemsworth as the receptionist was awful and only hurt the film even more. A big disappointment.
