A good follow up from the original even if it isn't as good. There's alot of fun to be had here and it gets better. They did an amazing job with the combat cause every weapon swing just feels right. Great work on zombie details. I hope there's more to come.

I really enjoyed it and I have been a final fantasy fan since Gameboy. The remixed music tied in with the old school FF music was great. The story really isn't that bad they just needed more background for the characters. Combat combat combat is the name of this game. So if you like action rpgs and your a final fantasy fan then don't miss out on this, you will enjoy more than you would probably like.

The game keeps getting bad reviews but I'm really enjoying it so far 9/10. Exploring a colorful Tokyo at night is pretty pleasing and awhile the combat is not at its best it is still fun. The folklore and the city itself is what stands out to me. If any of you are hesitant at getting this cause of the reviews we'll just don't listen. Give it a try if you have been following it and watching gameplay videos and think u might enjoy it, well I think most of you are in for a surprise.

10/10 yes it's difficult but gets easier the farther along you get. The artwork is pretty amazing and awhile there's not alot of story it's still interesting. Gameplay is where this game shines, die and die again, level up get better equipment and come back. The game is open world so if you get stuck somewhere move along and come back to that point later. The game is simply addicting so take a chance at this and don't miss it. You can get lost just exploring alone and just taking in just how beautiful this game really is.

I want to give this 5 stars but its getting 4 and I will tell you why. The game is great, good story, likable characters, and the combat is very good as it is much smoother than older Tales games. That being said, if you are a fan of the Tales series and you play them on hardest difficulty for your first run and it will be almost impossible. They always made tales games extremely hard just like Vesperia was (usually for second play throughs). Arise isn't necessarily easy on hard but definitely easier than other Tales games. Its worth playing for sure, I am glad this game is doing well, 9/10. Great 👍 Bandai.

This game is great, this was when squaresoft was at its finest and now it gets a remaster. The hand drawn art is beautiful and all the characters are really interesting. Keep them coming square-enix, I look forward to more remaster like this such as saga frontier 2, parasite eve and many many many more I could list.

I am re editing this, for me i give this a 9.5 out of 10 with very few flaws, this game is just as good as the first and if not better. XC2 never ceases to amaze me with its aesthetically pleasing scenery, and not to mention the joy out of exploring new areas that the amazing musical score fits perfect with where you are at in the game. I had a great time with it I had a blast playing this game.
