This game doesn't hold a candle to the previous one. Can't listen to music outside of vehicle, no phone menu, doesn't even show what shops are in the shop areas, way less environment interaction with hacking and hacking things overall, and the dialogue feels awkward as hell. We also get micro transactions, yeah let me just buy this outfit for 1/4 of the game price. Ubisoft Montreal > Ubisoft Toronto. Also released without multiplayer and pre planned dlc which means we know where the focus went. Seems like they spent all their budget on having a bunch of playable characters. If that wasn't enough you also get to enjoy this already sad experience at a whopping 60 fps, well if you are standing still in a dead area with nothing happening. The moment you get to the city and move an inch you drop 10 frames and god forbid you start driving and get to experience half of your monitors refresh rate. I'm running this on a water cooled 1080ti and i5-8600k. Wouldn't be surprised if this is from their joke of a DRM. I will say that the melee combat is very nice but other than that I'm not really sure where else I should give this game props other than it takes place in a cool area that you don't get to enjoy since youre constantly frustrated with everything else. Just go play Watch Dogs 2 and pray the series gets to continue but Ubisoft Montreal gets to do it.
