Is there anything that doesn't suck about this game lol. It's an obvious cash grab like all of EA's properties. If you try to establish control in the zone by bringing the puck in and attempting to pass it back to the point the pass WILL completely miss its mark every single time. Opponents ai can pass tape to tape every time even bckwards after touching the puck for a nano second. Friendly ai will intentionally block your shots, skate in front of you and bump you off the puck, constantly miss assignments allowing opponents to have an easy 1 timer in the slot. Whenever you attempt to change to a player near the action on screen you will switch to a player on the other side of the ice completely detached from the play, your opponent will take the puck from you if they slightly graze you meanwhile you have to send 3 players in two to take the body and one to poke check and your opponent will still somehow recover the puck. Puck will magnetize to your opponent's players. Even if you mange to lodge the puck free the puck will either move "Randomly" to an opposing player, or the opposing player will move faster than your player to the puck. Your players seem to be skating in muck and labor to turn on a glide they must first come to a complete stop then skate in place for 5 seconds before moving in the direction you are aiming. Opponents goalie is godlike will stop 50 shots standing on his head meanwhile opposing players take 1 shot instantly in the back of the net from the blue line. You could open thousands of high value packs and pull like 2 decent players. Attempting to build players in HUT is the ultimate grind they should literally change the name of the game mode to that. You could spend months and hundreds of thousands of coins to upgrade a player. We know what your gameplan is EA. You make the game require so much time to grind that we have to spend extra money on packs for one player. This is some scummy stuff right here, you're basically praying on people who have a gambling addiction. I've bought EA NHL every year for like 15 years in a row. Never again you've permanently lost a customer, and I hope others do the same. Ya'll literally have no shame.
