By far the most superior and plausible of all so-called superhero movies. Undoubtedly the best in its genre, the kind of greatness no modern DC and definitely no Marvel movie could even HOPE to achieve. Throughout this movie, one will be amazed by the REAL stunts and the REAL explosions. CGI was only used if necessary to create a very real world with very real problems. Ultimately, the movie is anarchy versus "the people" and features an antagonist with real power through bought loyalty, chance and average, disorder, and his anarchist ideals, featuring a very mulit-faceted plot; rather than a purple eggplant and his magic glove that sloppily incorporates a simple plot,--as an example of today's modern superhero movies. The entire story revolves around Batman, a symbol of dark justice without jurisdiction, and Harvey Dent, the people's white knight who is very fallible and open to attack, who fights along side him in a gamble that may undo all his work in the name of justice. The entire movie is a masterpiece, despite being far from perfect. If you're looking for a movie that revolves around actual law and morals, while involving normal people trying to solve seemingly impossible and complex problems, this is your movie. If you're looking for magic, shining lights, and huge action scenes with flying characters who punch other characters with trees, while adding yet another cringy joke in a long strand of jokes to fill a scene, I would recommend a Thor or Superman movie.
