Mathieu Tapp – Google

While I appreciate more movies of this franchise, it would be nice if, just for once, they actually did it right. If I was to give one example on how to do it right, I'd go with the first Silent Hill movie; some scenes were just like the game: the alley and the wheel chair for instance, or pyramid head, and even though the story wasn't with the main character, it fitted better and alongside it. As for this RE movie, taking major scenes from the games, and having different characters present and/or doing different actions, is not being faithful to the original. It felt more like a small budget bootleg than an actual movie. And not a good one at that. One good thing from it, is that there are mentions of specific characters that were only mentioned in files (in the games), or a very specific book that wasn't considered cannon but always was, and they tried to shove it in this movie. TLDR: Another appreciated attempt for a good RE movie that sadly isn't any better than the others.

I'm rating this higher than I should because there's definitely some added love for what would become The Witcher 3, This game suffers from crashes, broken quest lines, backtracking, way too much recycling, boring combat, convoluted UI, a quest tracker that will often tell you to go at the wrong place... That's just to name a few. If you're playing this just to have the complete experience, I getcha, that's why I tried to do it.... But man, it was NOT a pleasant experience.

Maybe I can't get into it, but the story is non appealing. The combat, at the very least on PS4 is clunky, ranging from a random OP nuke being dropped on your head to laying waste on synths. V.A.T.S just doesn't belong in an FPS, it drains your AP bar and then you're pretty much stuck crawling around. The environment is painfully boring, I fell asleep getting from point a to b. The retro menus are kinda nice at first, but you soon realize that it's painfully inneficient. At least the is a companion who can accompany you and their dialogue options could prevent from making you fall asleep at the wheel. Let's not forget to mention crafting, which is kinda nice, but it definitely could be much better. Building sites just is more of a chore than actual fun. After playing it for over 30 hours, I just put the controller down. I'd rather look at the grass grow. Skyrim, who's much older than this, did a much better job at pretty much everything, and there are much better options than Fallout 4 on PS4.

I've played too many games. I have a standard, like everyone. This game does not meet it. At all. It tried so hard at so much but completely missed the mark. Driving? Boring. Gear? Too little. Combat? Holding buttons. Difficulty? It's all over the place. Cooking? Just no. Fishing? Boring. Pictures become a shore. Quests? All over the place. Leveling up system? Unbalanced. Spells& Summons could save it.... But no. They messed that up too.... Don't get me started on the story. Nice graphics, I guess? This is just as bad as FFXlll. Maybe worse. SKIP this entry.
