Carrotsand cucumbers

After the fame of Cartoon Network's Teen show, Regular Show, there are many copycats of it. Most of them are Adult Swim style shows put into well known kid's channels eg. Breadwinners, Sanjay and Craig (ew). The newest one would be Apple and Onion. In this show, there are different representations of ethnicites, non of them were offensive. The series focuses on two naive apple and onion and their struggles. This show would have been better if it's a full on show, so it won't turn out to be considered Regular Show ripoff because it focuses on two friends. There are even shows consisting of two friends and siblings, like Spongebob Squarepants before Regular Show. The reason why shows like this got bad ratings is because CN doesn't bother to greenlit fan favorites like Infinity Train or Twelve Forever. They just do their business on the cheap ones.

As a beginner, you might compare this to Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go. Apart from the GoAnimate-style animation and the main gang with a different personality, I think this version has done a great job imitating the other Scooby Doo shows. I might not like it although I grew up with some Scooby Doo shows, but for starters, watch the rest of the series before you could understand this.

The character designs were not ugly at all, they were interesting and the animation is good. The story focuses on a child named Kaio and he works part time on a shop for heroes with his older friends, Ralph and Enid. There's their boss, Mr. Gar, he's harsh and is in love with Kaio's mother, who's a gym tutor. There's a bird like villain who creates robots and they are seen very much on screen as well. Instead of being normal henchmen, they even tried to rebel against their master one episode.

Mel Sanchez was right. Vambre and Prohyas were like the Jessie and James of Pokemon. Every plot is the same, the two act like meanies and no character development. Not to mention art is interesting and is wasted too.
