Well directed and well filmed. The intensity of the story, captivating and intense as it is, is only betrayed by the casting of Helen Hunt as the troubled and guilt stricken wife. Hunt’s appearance in this film has no merit other than the apparent use of her worn name in an unnecessary move to gather viewers. Her role could have been better served by any of several other actresses, without the need for a ‘Name’ to anchor the production. Nice work by all the rest of the cast, Hunt also, but gaslighted needlessly. Still, well worth the watch.
